What does a GRO! Cards Ambassador do?
A facilitator is the game master where he/she educates participants on the rules of the game, observe player’s strategy and invites them to reflect on their approach to the game.
Three Steps To Build Community Resilience
1. Learn
Attend a one day training session and learn about the: - Rules of the game - Seven factors for resilience - Game Strategies and its relation to resilience Learn how to facilitate the game! Note: Individuals need to undergo a selection process, and commit to specific requirements. |
2. Contribute
Building community resilience requires time and effort. By being a GRO! Ambassador, you commit to: - Be a GRO! Ambassador for at least 2 years - Conduct GRO! sessions in the community - Contribute insights as an Ambassador Note: All GRO! Ambassador will receive a deck of GRO! cards. |
3. Grow
Join Community of Practices to learn, collaborate and share best practices. Keep honing your skills on what to look out for as a GRO Ambassador. Stay updated on the latest research and developments for GRO! Partner us to bring GRO! into new communities, and work with us to measure impact. |

Important Information for GRO! Cards Ambassador
1. Growthbeans is looking for enthusiastic youths (in school or in National Service) with a keen interest in mental well-being and engaging youths who can facilitate GRO! Cards play sessions to support the community
2. We will conduct a screening process to select eligible volunteers to be a GRO! Cards Ambassador
3. Responsibilities
- Conduct GRO! Cards play sessions with at least 25 persons
- Connect with youths in a meaningful way
- Be familiar with the rules of GRO! Cards
- Observe and record player's strategies
- Facilitate conversations that helps players to reflect at the end of each GRO! Cards session
3. Eligible volunteers will be required to go through a compulsory 1 day training program provided by Growthbeans
