OVERVIEW
" We need leaders who are emotionally intelligent, and able to model and champion co-operative working. They’ll coach, rather than command; they’ll be driven by empathy, not ego. The digital revolution needs a different, more human kind of leadership. "
Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum
Leadership is not a position of authority. Beyond the vision, performance and results, leadership is very much about the people - how we engage, inspire and align, develop and harness strengths. Be a leader that people want to follow and grow with.

The whole programme is well thought out from top to bottom, if you're really sincere about improving yourself. I see taking this as a commitment to the kind of person you want to be, and the kind of leader you want to be. I think it's easy to forget about it in the endless grind for acads, but the skills this module teaches have a concrete impact in the relationships you have and the meaning you make in life. If you've ever considered management, or if you often fall into leadership positions, I highly recommend this module to really evaluate your habits and improve. Honestly, this programme is also hugely useful if you've never really engaged in self reflection, or if you don't know what is meaningful to you.

This module forces a lot of reflection and makes you use a lot of meta-cognition. These are things that are oft neglected in the busyness of day to day life, but are so necessary for self-awareness, self-management and long term growth as a person.

When you take this programme, you are making a commitment to spend some time every week to practice metacognition. Your thoughts and decision making process is like an AI. You train it by feeding it data points, a black box of your experiences, values and mindsets will take those data points to form your decisions and actions. During the programme, you will practice revisiting this AI time and time again, questioning how your existing algorithm works, whether there is room for improvement and thereafter how to make those improvements.

As soon as I started a few lessons, it’s not an exaggeration to say it changed my life for the better. Applying the stuff I have learnt already made me a better brother, a better friend and a better person.
