Terms & Conditions
Growthbeans is a trademark brand of Savoir Asia Consulting Pte Ltd ("the Company"), the registered entity. By accepting the following terms and conditions with Growthbeans, I ("the Participant") will be entering an Informed Consent and Release agreement with the Company. The Informed Consent and Release Agreement refers to Growthbeans organized programmes, circles, events and activities (collectively "Activity").
Informed Consent and Release Agreement
I understand that my participation in the Growthbeans Activity in which I have enrolled is voluntary and hereby agree to the following terms and conditions of enrollment:
1. All information provided by and to participants during the Growthbeans Activity is confidential (“Confidential Information”). I will not disclose Confidential Information to any person or entity under any circumstances.
2. I agree to consciously respect and practice Growthbeans' values while at a Growthbeans event.
3. I will not make any audio, video, audiovisual, or other recordings of any portion of the Growthbeans Activity or duplicate, reproduce, distribute or publish information I have received in the Growthbeans Activity in any manner (“Unauthorized Recordings”) without Growthbeans’ express verbal and/or written permission.
4. I will not hold Growthbeans accountable for any third -party dissemination of my Confidential Information, including Unauthorized Recordings, in violation of Paragraphs 1 and 2 above.
5. I am aware and agree that my participation in any Growthbeans Activity is voluntarily and I hereby acknowledge that I am responsibly participating at my own risk. As with any self-discovery and self-awareness programs, there may arise the need to share more about one's self. I understand that I may refuse to answer any questions and/or discontinue participation at any time. I will also take ownership of my own physical health and safety, and avoid/ refrain from participating in activities which are not appropriate or deemed unsafe for me. As such, I will not hold Growthbeans accountable for any injuries or personal discomfort or any act of negligence.
6. Growthbeans may film, photograph, and/or record (both audio and visual) during the Growthbeans Activity. However, no confidential sessions will be recorded or shared publicly. I consent to such filming, photographing and/or other recording and the use and distribution of such films, photographs and/or other recordings, or any part thereof, on Growthbeans’ media, including without limitation, Growthbeans’ promotional materials, Growthbeans Activity materials, public service announcements, grant applications, research, video documentaries, video testimonials, social networking, and print and online newsletters. In the event that visuals of myself strictly cannot be captured due to whatsoever reasons, I will inform Growthbeans in writing.
7. Growthbeans is the exclusive owner or licensee of all materials utilized in the Growthbeans activity including, but not limited to, all print, audio, video, digital, and online materials as well as research, books, articles, other works of authorship, and products or services created and/or developed by Growthbeans (collectively, “Materials”). Growthbeans retains all rights in and to all intellectual property in the Materials, including without limitation, copyrights and trademarks. Duplication or reproduction of the Materials or creation of derivative works based on the Materials without Growthbeans’ express written permission is strictly prohibited.
8. Growthbeans may, at any time in its sole and absolute discretion, determine that I may not complete the Growthbeans Activity. Thus, there is no guarantee that I will be permitted to complete the Growthbeans Activity or receive the Growthbeans Certification, where applicable. If Growthbeans makes this determination, my sole and exclusive compensation shall be a pro-rated refund of my tuition based on the time remaining in the GB Course and/or Circle. I will hold Growthbeans harmless for any expenses I may incur in participating in or in anticipation of participating in the Growthbeans Activity, including without limitation, travel expenses and/or lost wages. Any expenses I incur in participating in or in anticipation of participating in the Growthbeans Activitiy are made at my own risk.

For Coach Members
Growthbeans expects all coach members, to adhere to the elements and principles of ethical conduct and the Growthbeans Way. Growthbeans upholds the Growthbeans Values and takes reference to the ICF Code of Ethics which provides appropriate guidelines, accountability and enforceable standards of conduct for all Growthbeans Coach Members.
Part One: Definitions
• Coaching: Coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
• Growthbeans Coach member: A Growthbeans coach member agrees to uphold the Growthbeans values, practice the Growthbeans Way and the ICF Core Competencies, and pledges accountability to the ICF Code of Ethics.
• Growthbeans Way: A Growthbeans Coach agrees to uphold the Growthbeans Way – to reserve judgment (make no comparison, adopt neutral language and be open to different perspectives), to be inclusive and facilitate friendship and conversations and not to focus on titles which could lead to discrimination or presumptions.
• Professional Coaching Relationship: A professional coaching relationship exists when coaching takes place in a Growthbeans Coaching Circle or coaching-infused workshop or when coaching includes an agreement (including contracts) that defines the responsibilities of each party.
• Roles in the Coaching Relationship: In order to clarify roles in the coaching relationship it is often necessary to distinguish between the client and the sponsor. In most cases, the client and sponsor are the same person and are therefore jointly referred to as the client. For purposes of identification, however, the ICF defines these roles as follows:
• Client: The “Client/Coachee" is the person(s) being coached.
• Sponsor: The “sponsor” is the entity (including its representatives) paying for and/or arranging for coaching services to be provided. In all cases, coaching engagement agreements should clearly establish the rights, roles and responsibilities for both the client and sponsor if the client and sponsor are different people.
• Student: The “student” is someone enrolled in a coach training program, coach-infused workshop or working with a coaching supervisor or coach mentor in order to learn the coaching process or enhance and develop their coaching skills.
• Conflict of Interest: A situation in which a coach has a private or personal interest sufficient to appear to influence the objective of his or her official duties as a Growthbeans coach and a professional.
• Community: The “community” is the group of people who attends any of the Growthbeans Circles
• Growthbeans Circle: It is a Growthbeans organized session where learning, sharing, coaching may take place.

Part Three: The Growthbeans Pledge of Ethics
As a Growthbeans coach member, I acknowledge and agree to honor my ethical and legal obligations to the Growthbeans community, my coaching clients and sponsors, colleagues, and to the public at large. I pledge to comply with the Growthbeans Way, the ICF Code of Ethics and to practice these standards with those whom I coach, teach, mentor or supervise.
If I breach this Pledge of Ethics or any part of the ICF Code of Ethics, I agree that Growthbeans in its sole discretion may hold me accountable for so doing. I further agree that my accountability to Growthbeans for any breach may include sanctions, such as loss of my Growthbeans Membership.

I understand that my participation in the Growthbeans Activity in which I have enrolled is voluntary and hereby agree to the following terms and conditions of enrollment:

4. I will not hold Growthbeans accountable for any third -party dissemination of my Confidential Information, including Unauthorized Recordings, in violation of Paragraphs 1 and 2 above.
5. I am aware and agree that my participation in any Growthbeans Activity is voluntarily and I hereby acknowledge that I am responsibly participating at my own risk. For Coach Members

Part Two: The Growthbeans Standards of Conduct
Section 1: Professional Conduct at Large
As a Growthbeans coach member, I:
- Conduct myself in accordance with the Growthbeans Way and the ICF Code of Ethics in all interactions
- Commit to take the appropriate action with the coach, trainer, or coach mentor and/or will contact Growthbeans to address any ethics violation or possible breach as soon as I become aware, whether it involves me or others.
- Communicate and create awareness in others, including organizations, employees, sponsors, coaches and others, who might need to be informed of the responsibilities established by this Code.
- Refrain from unlawful discrimination in occupational activities, including age, race, gender orientation, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, national origin or disability.
- Make verbal and written statements that are true and accurate about what I offer as a coach, the coaching profession or Growthbeans.
- Accurately identify my coaching qualifications, expertise, experience, training, certifications and ICF Credentials.
- Recognize and honor the efforts and contributions of others and only claim ownership of my own material. I understand that violating this standard may leave me subject to legal remedy by a third party.
- Strive at all times to recognize my personal issues that may impair, conflict with or interfere with my coaching performance or my professional coaching relationships. I will promptly seek the relevant professional assistance and determine the action to be taken, including whether it is appropriate to suspend or terminate my coaching relationship(s) whenever the facts and circumstances necessitate.
- Recognize that the Code of Ethics applies to my relationship with coaching clients, coachees, students, mentees and supervisees.
- Conduct and report research with competence, honesty and within recognized scientific standards and applicable subject guidelines. My research will be carried out with the necessary consent and approval of those involved, and with an approach that will protect participants from any potential harm. All research efforts will be performed in a manner that complies with all the applicable laws of the country in which the research is conducted.
- Maintain, store and dispose of any records, including electronic files and communications, created during my coaching engagements in a manner that promotes confidentiality, security and privacy and complies with any applicable laws and agreements.
- Use Growthbeans Member contact information (email addresses, telephone numbers, and so on) only in the manner and to the extent authorized by Growthbeans
- Will not market and tout personal and non GrowthBeans activities, products and services particularly during coaching sessions, coaching and Growthbeans circles and events.
- Respect the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) namely personal details of individuals gleaned from Growthbeans WhatsApp or other networking apps and any other chat groups. Use of clients’ and members’ personal information without prior Growthbeans’ knowledge leads to violation of the PDPA.
- Will not use Growthbeans logo without Growthbeans’ prior written consent.
- Commit not to utilize or copy any Growthbeans Intellectual Property (resources, trademarks, trade names, domain names, database, rights in respect of confidential information, know-how, and other intellectual property rights, whether conferred under statute, common law, or equity and in each case whether registered or unregistered, registrable or unregistrable) for any purpose other than on-forwarding Growthbeans’ mission, vision, products and services for marketing purposes.
- Agree that I am not agents and appointed representatives of Growthbeans unless there has been prior written agreement.
- Will refer to Growthbeans on potential marketing and promotional activities and opportunities.
Section 2: Conflicts of Interest
As a Growthbeans coach member, I:
- Seek to be conscious of any conflict or potential conflict of interest, openly disclose any such conflict and offer to remove myself when a conflict arises.
- Clarify roles for coaches, set boundaries and review with stakeholders conflicts of interest that may emerge between coaching and other role functions.
- 21) Disclose to my client and the sponsor(s) all anticipated compensation from third parties that I may receive for referrals of clients or pay to receive clients.
- 22) Honor an equitable coach/client relationship, regardless of the form of compensation.
- 23) Commit to informing Growthbeans of any further personal coaching sessions that may arise additionally from training, coaching and learning circles organised by Growthbeans prior to commencement of any such additional coaching sessions.
Section 3: Professional Conduct with Clients
As a Growthbeans coach member, I:
- Will be a brand ambassador of Growthbeans and will invite clients obtained from Growthbeans to provide testimonials and feedback via the Growthbeans readily available QR code.
- Will be mindful of one’s role as a Growthbeans Coach and not to take on an advisory role or dive too much into personal story unless I remove the hat of a coach and play the role of a fellow Growthbeans participant. I will Pause, Check and Reflect if myself or a fellow coach is talking more than 20% of the allotted time in Growthbeans coaching sessions and/or coaching and learning circles conversations.
- Will exchange contact details with potential coachees at events organised by Growthbeans only if there is a mutual agreement with potential coachees.
- Ethically speak what I know to be true to clients, prospective clients or sponsors about the potential value of the coaching process or of me as a coach.
- Carefully explain and strive to ensure that, prior to or at the initial meeting, my coaching client and sponsor(s) understand the nature of coaching, the nature and limits of confidentiality, financial arrangements, and any other terms of the coaching agreement.
- Have a clear coaching service agreement with my clients and sponsor(s) before beginning the coaching relationship and honor this agreement. The agreement shall include the roles, responsibilities and rights of all parties involved.
- Hold responsibility for being aware of and setting clear, appropriate and culturally sensitive boundaries that govern interactions, physical or otherwise, I may have with my clients or sponsor(s).
- Avoid any sexual or romantic relationship with current clients or sponsor(s) or students, mentees or supervisees. Further, I will be alert to the possibility of any potential sexual intimacy among the parties including my support staff and/or assistants and will take the appropriate action to address the issue or cancel the engagement in order to provide a safe environment overall.
- Respect the client’s right to terminate the coaching relationship at any point during the process, subject to the provisions of the agreement. I shall remain alert to indications that there is a shift in the value received from the coaching relationship.
- Encourage Growthbeans, the client or sponsor to make a change if I believe the client or sponsor would be better served by another coach or by another resource and suggest my client seek the services of other professionals when deemed necessary or appropriate.
Section 4: Confidentiality/Privacy
As a Growthbeans coach member, I:
- Maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality with all client and sponsor information unless release is required by law.
- Have a clear agreement about how coaching information will be exchanged among coach, client and sponsor.
- Have a clear agreement when acting as a coach, coach mentor, coaching supervisor, trainer or peer coach, with client and sponsor, student, mentee, supervisee or Growthbeans peer coach, about the conditions under which confidentiality may not be maintained (e.g., illegal activity, pursuant to valid court order or subpoena; imminent or likely risk of danger to self or to others; etc) and make sure both client and sponsor, student, mentee, or supervisee voluntarily and knowingly agree in writing to that limit of confidentiality. Where I reasonably believe that because one of the above circumstances is applicable, I may need to inform appropriate authorities.
- Require all those who work with or discusses with me in support of my clients to adhere to the Growthbeans guidelines and ICF Code of Ethics, Number 26, Section 4, Confidentiality and Privacy Standards, and any other sections of the Code of Ethics that might be applicable.
Section 5: Continuing Development
As a Growthbeans coach member, I:
- Commit to the need for continued and ongoing development of my professional skills. To do this, I will:
b) participate in the Growthbeans Sharing circle
c) contribute time to community coaching sessions to maintain my practice of coaching
d) participate in events, training or workshops that will help me to develop my skills
Part Three: The Growthbeans Pledge of Ethics
As a Growthbeans coach member, I acknowledge and agree to honor my ethical and legal obligations to the Growthbeans community, my coaching clients and sponsors, colleagues, and to the public at large.
