Coaching For Well Being Certification Programme

The Coaching for Wellbeing Certification program is a 24-Hour Coach-Specific Training program conducted face-to-face or online synchronous and asynchronous, depending on client and environmental factors. The program’s focus is on creating positive results for clients. 

The new normal and future of work has allowed companies to see that working from home is possible.  It has also taught us the importance of the need to support our employees’ mental, emotional and social wellbeing especially when our work and personal lives are even more integrated than ever. In the new way of working, it is an imperative for any one managing a team, hereafter referred to as manager, to be able to coach employees on their wellbeing as human capital are a key driver of business performance. This goes beyond the boundaries of traditional workplace coaching.

This Coaching for Wellbeing programme will provide a manager with a framework, strategies, skillsets and tools to
  • better support employees’ wellbeing 
  • enable them to more effectively meet work demands
  • leverage their potential to navigate uncertainties.

The program is experiential, hands-on learning, provides direct feedback, and opportunities to apply theories to deeply integrate learning.  The modules facilitate active learning through discussing theories and engaging in demonstrations, practice, reflections, and case studies. Through constructive feedback, sharing, and group coaching, the manager will make progress on personal and career development goals. 

The skillsets form the fundamentals needed to create a psychologically safe space – the most important element for high performing teams. The program is aligned with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) core competencies and professional standards.

With the current pandemic, the programme will be conducted entirely online via Zoom. English will be the language of communication unless otherwise stated.

The certification program follows the professional guidelines established by International Coaching Federation (ICF). The modules are designed as a systematic approach with active learning to empower you to become a certified Coaching for Wellbeing Coach.

  • Connect with empathy through active listening
  • Relate with compassion by examining feelings and needs
  • Demonstrate awareness without judgment through empathetic questioning
  • Utilize a technique to facilitate a well-being conversation that allows individuals to express themselves
  • Identify ways to apply lessons learnt to create psychological safety to support the well-being of others at the workplace
