Growth Circles

Small, recurring peer circles that give youths a steady space to discover who they're becoming, and to find belonging

Discover Who You are Becoming
While Finding a Sense of Belonging.

Youths are constantly being shaped by moments adults rarely see — a hard conversation with a friend, a doubt about who they're becoming, a question they're not sure who to ask. Left alone, these moments pass without much reflection. Growth Circles give youths a regular, small-group space to think out loud, hear how their peers are navigating something similar, and build the confidence that comes from not feeling alone in it.

Types of Growth Circles

Growing up asks different things of youths at different stages, which is why Growth Circles come in different forms. Each circle is quietly building a different capacity: self-discovery, or the relational skill of mentoring and being mentored. What they share is cadence: it's the regular return, not a one-off workshop, that turns reflection into real self-understanding and mentoring into real belonging.

Growth Circles for Resilience

Resilience and soft skills aren't built by being told about them — they're built by practising them, with real people, in real moments. These circles bring young people together in small, recurring groups to rehearse what matters most: handling setbacks, managing emotions under pressure, listening well, and speaking up with confidence.

Discovery Growth Circles

Discovery Growth Circles give young people a regular, low-pressure space to reflect on who they're becoming — their strengths, their values, and the choices ahead of them. In small peer groups, they practise thinking out loud, asking honest questions, and hearing how others their age are making sense of similar things.

Peer Mentoring Growth Circles

Peer Mentoring Circles bring younger and older peers together in small groups, where more experienced young people share what they've learned and newer members find a sense of belonging. Connection and guidance happen naturally here, person to person, rather than top-down.
