What is Self Awareness Festival ?

Picture
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we hardly pause to spend time with ourselves.

Self awareness festival is a reminder to provide ourselves with self-love, self-care, and self-rejuvenation. It is a time to get to know ourselves better, embrace our ups and downs, and to celebrate our journey in a safe space. In this safe space, we all belong, and we are all growing together.

More than that, it is also a chance for us to expand our perspectives and explore new meaning. In a world where we can connect authentically, give and live meaningfully, we find joy and fulfilment.
Theme for 2024

Enhancing Inclusivity, Bridging Communities

We all yearn for belonging and inclusion.

In a world where differences can lead to isolation, the Self-Awareness Festival invites you to be part of a collaborative journey.

Together, we'll create a more equitable and compassionate society where everyone's voice matters.

Join us to:
  • Embrace diversity
  • Prioritise inclusivity
  • Facilitate connection
  • Strengthen social bonds

Let us build a world where everyone can thrive together.

Being There For Others
Supportive Skills, Safe Spaces
By Growthbeans and Growth Facilitators
Supporting others can be challenging because it requires strong people skills and the ability to create psychological safety. Effective support involves empathy, active listening, and clear communication, which help us connect and understand others' needs. Additionally, creating a safe environment where people feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear is crucial but difficult, especially in complex situations. Balancing these elements takes self-awareness and patience, but it's essential for building supportive relationships that help others thrive. Join in this session to embrace the supportive skills and co-create psychological safety.

Stories of Our Lives
Finding Meaning, Exploring Stories
by Dev K Kuladeva, Volunteer Facilitator for GC, Mindful Self Compassion Teacher.
Synopsis:

Our lives are a series of moments that we experience uniquely based on the values and beliefs we have cultivated over time. We intuitively endeavour to find meaning for everything that we experience and thereby string up each moment into stories which, in turn, get weaved into the tapestry of our life story.
In this programme, we delve into several common themes that punctuate our lives and take time to contemplate on each theme and share our individual stories in a safe setting with the aim of creating a better understanding of how each of us has unique experiences, celebrate our diversity and help each other extricate the meaning from our stories giving new perspectives and ultimately, gives us all a better understanding of ourselves and each other.  We will look into the milestones of our life thus far and discover how some events are points of inflexion that were so critical in taking us where we are now. Together, let us explore our life and the stories that define us.
